The Back To Education Initiative (BTEI) offers part-time further education courses for those aged 18 or over. BTEI provides individuals with the opportunity to combine learning with family, work and other responsibilities.

Anyone who has left full-time education can take part in a course, but priority will be given to those with less than upper second-level education. BTEI offers a range of education and training courses at NFQ Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Courses include:

• Childcare Level 5 & 6 
• Healthcare Level 5 
• Business Administration Level 5 
• Beauty Level 5 
• Gardening, Woodwork, Cookery, Communications, Team working
